Black Marigolds — Bilhana’s Chaurapanchasika (Feb 2025) An English translation of Chaurapanchasika (“Fifty Stanzas of a Thief”) by the 11th-century Kashmiri poet Bilhana — a cycle of love poems written (according to tradition) while the poet awaited execution for a secret romance. One of the most celebrated erotic poems in Sanskrit literature, translated into English as Black Marigolds by E. Powys Mathers in 1919. archive.org — https://archive.org/details/lfhk_chaura-panchashika-of-bilhana-by-s.-n.-tadpatrikar-series-no.-86-puna-oriental-series
